Richard W. Scott, Ph.D. is a Founder of PolyMedix and has served as Vice President, Research since inception in 2002. Dr. Scott has approximately 30 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience. Prior to PolyMedix, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Cephalon, where he most recently served as Vice President of Biology. Dr. Scott also worked at the research laboratories of E.I. DuPont and Company, has authored more than 55 papers and book chapters, and is named on six patents. Dr. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Biology with honors from Muhlenberg College.
